A person is still in the hospital nearly two days after a stabbing in a domestic violence incident at an apartment complex in Englewood, according to police.

Michelle Abbott, 45, was located near West Grand Avenue and South Elati Street, just about a block north of the Alvista Trailside Apartments, said Investigator Scot Allen, spokesman for Englewood police. Abbott was arrested as a suspect, he said.

Englewood police were notified of the incident at about 4:20 p.m. Dec. 1, Allen said. Both Abbott and the victim are associated with an apartment in the complex where the stabbing occurred, Allen said. It sits just west of South Broadway and West Belleview Avenue, on South Delaware Street.
