The Englewood Public Library will be closed Aug. 3-9 for
“weeding” of worn and outdated items and other general maintenance
projects.
No checked-out materials will be due during this time, but the
library’s book-drops will be open and items will be checked in
while the library is closed. If items are due before Aug. 3,
patrons should make sure they are returned on time. Late fees will
accrue during the library closure for items due before Aug. 3.
In addition, no telephone renewals will be accepted while the
library is closed, but patrons will be able to renew their
materials online if they have an online account set up.
Patrons may return their items to the book drops or wait until
Aug. 10, when the Library reopens. The Englewood Public Library is
at 1000 Englewood Parkway.
A recipe by Cody Muenstermann, 12, of Englewood, was selected by
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc. to be featured in the third annual
“Red Robin Kids’ Cook-Off” Cookbook.
The book, which includes Muenstermann’s “The German Burger (The
Duesseldorfer!)” recipe, is available for free download online at
