The Malley Senior Recreation Center’s parking lot will be
transformed into a bazaar for the June 13 community garage
sale.
More than 40 sellers have signed up for the event that will be
held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the lot at 3380 S. Lincoln St.
This is Malley’s first community garage sale and organizers
stressed the event starts at 8 a.m. and shoppers will not be
allowed to enter until that time.
Some of the sellers indicated the merchandise they will offer
including camping gear, kitchenware, tools and crafts.
During the sale, the snack bar inside the center will be open.
They will have breakfast burritos created in the Malley kitchen
along with donuts, snacks, coffee and water for sale.
In case of bad weather, call 762-2598 for information. Also, if
the event is rained out, plans are to hold the event from 8 a.m. to
3 p.m. June 30.
