Alameda won the battle of two Pirates teams, besting Englewood 33-14 on Sept. 24. Alameda, with the strong, vocal support of a large homecoming crowd, came out fired up and established a 21-0 advantage by the end of the first quarter.

Englewood quarterback Jacob Lowder completed nine of 20 passes for 163 yards. Mike Tolle spearheaded the Englewood ground game with 11 carries for 68 yards.
