Englewood Police Sgt. Tracy Jones said officers were notified around 10:30 a.m. Monday by a man in the area who saw a body lying on the ground and said it "was suspicious."
"We're treating it as an unattended death," Jones said. "Right now we don't know what the nature or cause of death was, we're going to have to wait until a medical examiner or the coroner can tell us."
Police did not give any information on the person's identity and did not say the exact location of where the body was found.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
