The smell of street tacos and hot dogs mingled with the aroma of cigar smoke and freshly poured beer outside Brewability Lab on a Saturday afternoon. The 3400 block of South Broadway teemed with tents and tables and trucks. And people.

After a hiatus last year because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Englewood Block Party returned Sept. 18.

Kids, dogs, lovers and friends came out, once again, to see neighbors, patronize local businesses and celebrate their community.
