It’s exciting. We, as citizens, are coming together on that middle ground, that solid foundation that our forefathers sought when creating this wonderful nation of ours.

I heard Linda Newell, candidate for Colorado Senate District 26, speak at a neighborhood gathering in Littleton.

She’s not about being liberal or conservative. She’s about us. And when she champions the issues that matter to me — the economy, preservation of Colorado’s great God-given beauty, and the future of kids — she sounds right. Good schools, affordable health care and good choices available to all of us. She’s got my vote.
