Letter to the editor: Raccoon story in Englewood raises questions

(Re the Aug. 5 Englewood Herald story “Ex-councilman’s raccoon encounter causes stir”)

Let me get this story straight: Steve Yates is in his backyard with his two dogs (Lighted backyard? How big are the dogs? Tiny Chihuahuas?) when two raccoons attacked his dog.

Really? Or was it the other way around? And he runs into another neighbor’s yard to kill the raccoon? Seriously? Were his dogs barking the entire time? His neighbors must, well, you wonder what his neighbors think of him.

I am so glad I did not vote for Steve Yates, again, for city council.
