Olde Town Market returns to Main Street

Posted

Downtown Littleton business women Peggy Cooper (Details Boutique), Marcia Asheim (A Knitted Peace), Amy Dougherty (Pink Attic Cat Antiques) and Sue Coffey (Believing in Kids and Families) are presenting their second Olde Town Market on Main Street in Downtown Littleton from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 8.

“The initial June market drew more than 1,000 shoppers,” according to Cooper, who says the entrepreneurial quartet hopes to draw new business to downtown Littleton during tough times. The hope is that visitors to the street fair will also visit shops and restaurants. A Kids Zone was sponsored by Coffey and Reinke.

The Market is among many Western Welcome Events planned for Aug. 8 — from the Scottish Festival to gold panning to Stampede for Open Space to Trivia Challenge to “Fantasticks…”
