Parolee found growing marijuana

Posted

Englewood Police officers Sam Ayres and Rachel Bartoshevich assisted the state department of corrections and arrested a 50-year-old parolee who was growing marijuana in his apartment.

According to the report, during a routine home visit to the parolee’s South Delaware Street apartment, the man voluntarily told the officer he was growing marijuana plants in his bedroom closet.

The officer called Englewood police and the two officers found what the parolee said was true. He, indeed, had two marijuana plants being cultivated in a storage bin on the closet floor.

The man was arrested and taken to Arapahoe County Jail.
