AURORA -- Englewood High School, which won the Colorado League title this season, earned a first-round bye in the state 3A playoffs.

The Colorado High School Activities Association released the brackets March 8. Englewood faces either Resurrection Christian or Denver School of Science/Technology-Conservatory Green Thursday, March 11.

The Pirates finished the regular season with a mark of 13-1. Nate Gavagno led the team in scoring at 15.9 points per game. Gunnar Johnson Labbe tossed in 15.6 ppg. Gravagno averages seven rebounds a game, too.
