A banker and a tax professional are guest speakers at a March 24
business seminar.
The free seminar will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the
Englewood Public Library, which is located on the ground floor of
the Englewood Civic Center, 1000 Englewood Parkway.
Randy Penn, chamber board chairman, said that while the seminar
is officially labeled a reintroduction of the chamber’s series
called women in business, the informative.
Gina Greenwood, vice president of business banking for Vetra
Bank, will talk about what the bank looks for when procession
business loan applications.
Her topics include, the 5 “C’s” of credit, debt service cash
ration and review of business financials.
Tax information for small business owners will be presented by
Christine Hoope, H & R Block district manager. Some of the
topics she will cover will be depreciation and deductible expenses,
self employment taxes and retirement plans and start-up costs.
